Question Lsx ????

i now have enought money to buy a lsx intake but im not an expert on this kind of stuff so i was wondering if i can use my stock throttle body with the 90mm lsx intake

wait a lil longer and get the 90mm (assuming u are buying the fast 90 intake) throttle body to go with it.

No, your stock TB will not work with the 90mm FAST intake. You have to have the 90 mm TB.

Also, from what I have learned, you need to be making good power before adding the 90mm FAST. Like heads and cam, etc. You will actually loose some bottom end and not gain a thing on the high end, if you don't have the mods to support the 90mm. Just get the 78mm if you don't have the other mods.

Like previously said, you can NOT use the stock TB with a fast 90 intake. You have to buy a 90M TB which will cost around $300-400 I believe. If you don't have heads and cam in the car or in the near future then don't waste your money on a LSX intake. The fast 90 setup on bolt-on cars can actually hurt performance (lower rpm's) and make minimal gains in upper rpm's (needs to spin beyond 6000 rpm's to really shine).

The LS6 intake is the best out there IMO for bolt-on or cam only cars.
