i know been said prob.. but... im leaving for math class right now..

are the trannies in a vette or z28 or ss diff? and if so... rpm wise do they shift around same points??

some guy was saying he couldnt stay in same gear in a z had to shift alooooot, and the z06 he culd stay in it more..

That could be because of rear end gears.

the corvette has a transaxle, It is much differnet than camaros and the ratios in the zo6 are different in the transmission. They do however have the 3.42 gears, but since the trans is different gearing the mph will be much different than the camaro. I belive the corvette rear being a transaxle is much stronger than our 10 bolt.

 

Z06 M6 ratios-1st: 2.97 2nd: 2.07 3rd: 1.43 4th: 1.00 5th: 0.83 6th: 0.56

02 Camaro M6 ratios-1st: 2.66 2nd: 1.78 3rd: 1.30 4th: 1.00 5th: 0.74 6th: 0.50
