would be better for a project engine?

i'd like to know if there is a disadvantage in the electronic throttle(i hate traction control) with the 345hp 97-03 vette LS1's comparing it to the cable driven throttle on the 98-03 f-body cars.

no matter what engin you use i believe you can use either cable or electronic what would matter with that would be the computer and wiring harness you use.
