Lower Control Arms... Which ones do you guys think are the best for the price?

Let me know what you guys are running for LCA's, thanks. Also, do you think a Transmission cooler is worth it?

Gotta love the BMR with poly/rubber combo. Plus you can hook up several color choices! Personally, I chose the boxed, better looking IMO.

BMR's are good. I personally have MAC boxed lower control arms just because I bought them off of this site along with a MAC panhard for $115 bucks. It was a good deal, I just had to pick them up - it was a local sale.

btw, the ones I have work great.

I've pretty much got an entire LCA, Panhard, Torque Arm and safety loop setup from Spohn Performance. I'm adding a driveshaft too, since my aluminum one exploded Friday night!

Anyway, I really like the setup. The LCA's are tubular and not boxed, but they surprisingly look very good on the car.

I got mine from DMS, one of the sites sponsers. Happy with the product and price. Very courteous customer support also.

Hey guys, ok, what does chrome/moly mean? And what to go with? poly/poly or rubber/poly? Thanks. Please simplify this for me guys. I'm no expert at this stuff. Thanks again.

What are some web sites talking about coming with grease fittings? Do you have to grease these regularly? Thanks.

Chrome Moly is a type of steel. It's stronger than mild steel that you'll typically find on LCA's. That way they can get away with thinner wall tubing with the same strength. It saves a couple pounds (2 or 3, maybe!).

Rubber/Poly and Poly/Poly refer to the bushings in each end. You can get one of each on either end or both the same. The rubber poly is popular because it's a bit quieter than poly on both ends. On mine I have poly on both sides. You only hear the car squeak in parking lots.

My LCA's do come with grease fittings. You do not have to service them regularly. Several thousand miles maybe before you can regrease them. With my poly bushings I use a silicone grease, not a standard chassis lube like you would imagine that you'd put in there. I greased mine up recently and the parking lot squeaks actually went away. So it does have some effect on the sound and ride quality.

In general most of the LCA's are going to be extremely similar in capability. There's nothing magical about a BMR vs a Spohn at the end of the day. Just comes down to your preference.

Whisper Lid, Grotyohann Headers and Y-pipe, Corsa Exhaust, BMR SFC's, McLeod Single Disk, Spohn Torque Arm, LCA and Panhard Rod and much more to come

I have the Spohn setup and they are awesome. However, I have not had another brand to compare with, but they are still a worthwhile suspension mod.
