It is a combination of metal and rubber. It's chrome in the center to dress up our lackluster engine compartments. It's rubber on the ends to accomodate torque movement of our engines. There are no ribs to disrupt airflow. With a similar bellows to this I gained 2rwhp on the dyno. It will come in red, black, blue, and yellow to suit individual tastes. As usual Speed Inc will sell these for me.

what is the chrome part made of?
what about the rubber ends, what are they made of?
How secure is it since its not clamped on the center peice?
About how much you thinking?
Just a couple questions.. hehe

The chrome part is stainless steel chromed. The rubber part is like the rubber that you find on dipped pieces such as wrenches and hooks for bikes to hang on. There is a 1/8 inch gap between the chrome piece and the ends of the TB and MAF. The rubber is very flexible. The rubber bridges this gap to allow for engine torque movement.

Yes I plan to market it just like my Supersucker and Qwik Stick. I'm hoping I can sell them for $39. Thanks for the tip on the air filter. I still have yet to buy one of the recharge kits.
