Install exhaust first or cutout?

I have my new exhaust ready to get installed and will get a cutout in the next few months. I think I read here to install exhaust first before cutout. Is that true?

I would install the muffler first and worry about the cutout later. A lot of people just do the cutout by itself with the stock muffler so they can run open when they want and quiet as stock the rest of the time.

Thats me.... I have a good street system on the car from the factory, no need to spend 4-700 bucks so i have to listen to it all the time... if i want to listen to it, its 3 quick wingnuts away. And i can reach it from the side, so it only takes a few seconds to do...
