I am doing a H/C/I setup soon and need to know what # injectors and what brand I should go with. Also what I should do for a fuel system. I am doing a custom cam / 243 head setup from Advanced Induction along with the FAST 102 / Nick Williams TB. This will be on a stock bottom end 346 n/a. My understanding from Phillip at AI is that this will be a pretty nasty custom cam but I don't have numbers for the cam yet. What do you guys think I should use for injectors and fuel ?

 

I'm running 36# injectors with a Racetronics hot wire kit to a 255 Walbro pump with all stock lines on a H/C/I full bolton factory short block combo.

 

That sounds like a nice setup for me to consider. What if I went with 42# injectors, can I have such a thing as to much injector or do you think I would be alright with 42's ?

 

42's will work. more than you need, most likely; but the tuner will have no problem getting them dialed in.

 

I'd go with 30# or 36# Ford Injectors, which are more like 36# and 42# under LS1 Fuel Pressure ratings.

 

all I know is to stay under 80% duty cycle if you can
