Headers I don't think anyone will argue
Weld-in Subframe Connectors VERY important espically on a T-top car. If you are twisting your chassis than the car will handle poorly no-matter what else you do to it
13" Baer Brakes in the frontCall me old fashioned, but I'm a firm beliver in upgrading brakes beforeupgrading the motor.
None of these things will effect the driveabiliy of the car... that's worth a lot in the mod dept.

Get a 9inch with 3.73s or 4.10s...Then some SFCs...From there get some drag radials...From there get Headers, the a shift kit and stall, then cam, then heads, then exhaust, then N2O, the list goes on and on...
1)SLP, FLP, or Lingenfelter Longtubes
2)New MAF
3)Ported Throttle Body
4)Gears
5)Wait on the Heads and cam until you have a little more money to spend for the good stuff.
Just a Thought, Everyone else said Heads and Cam so I figured I would be different

Get a strange 12 bolt w/ 3.73 gears.. later on you can add a stall and slicks and launch like a ****.. However, as I found out before I bought my camaro with a strange 12 bolt.. Saving up that 2 grand without spending it something like a cam will be difficult
Besides, whenever you want a convertor or cam $300-$600 shouldn't be too hard to swing

About the subframes basicly this is what you have ...You have a unibody frame on your car and it isn't really connected...Subframes connect both parts giving you a stiffer more complete ride...They really make a huge difference. For the money...Heads and cam are two much. Hooker long tubes are great...I love them. I got them coated and shipped for 580. From there you can finish your exhaust. Suggest to save money get a cutout...and leave the rest of the exhaust the way it is...Some LCA's and a torque convertor. you should still be under what you wanted to spend and that will give you a good kick in the pants and also give you some better traction to back it up. As far as the cutout thing...I got a electric one from QTP and I love it ...the cutout is to loud to run all the time but its nice every once in a while and it does give a nice heathly dose of power. I do have the heads and cam and all the rest of the stuff everyone else wants you to get...12 bolt? thats 2000 you don't need to spend for a while. Work from what I mentioned...again this is MPO. I have known alot of people who have been down this road...You will be happy no matter what you do...But don't go out spending that 2000 all on one thing like the 12 bolt... there isn't a point...You have no boost and you aren't making near the amount of power you need to be to break it...If you had a M6 things might be different but thats not the case...Good luck

My car can use some Sub-Frame Connectors.
Oh wait ... you meant to help spend money on mods for your car.
Yeah.. another vote for sub frame connectors and a strut tower brace. You need to strengthen the chassis to help hold all that power.
