How much does an empty T-56 weigh??

I need to take mine off today or tomorrow and want to know how much its gonna weigh. Thanks

if by empty you mean drained of fluid it will weigh about 125lbs. also the trans will often come out all of a sudden without warning;by that I mean you get all the bolts and stuff loose and the tranny is just waiting to be pulled off but it often takes some stroking to convince it to come out and after some heaving and turning all at once out it comes. don't do this by yourself if can get some help. getting it back in is also fun.
