How much are a brand new complete pair of 5.3L heads worth?

How much are a brand new complete pair of 5.3L heads worth?
I've got a buddy who's friend has a pair he wants to sell. He works for a company that makes them apparently and picked em up planning to use them. Now he has too many projects and wants to get rid of them. What are they worth and is anyone interested? I went over to look at the heads and they are in perfect condition and are complete with valves,springs,etc. Heck they even have brand new AC Delco spark plugs in them. As far as the full details go, the heads haven't been worked over or anything from what I understand they are just stock 5.3L's. I do know for a fact that they have never even been mounted on a motor and are absolutely brand new. Been sitting in his house waiting to get installed. Again just looking to see what they are worth and if anyone is interested in them. Thanks in advance.

can probably get $1000-1350 depending on the brand. anymore than that might as well buy them from a vendor. i paid around $1500 for my prc's

$200-300 maybe. The stock springs/retainers will be viewed as worthless to anyone wanting these for their f-body.
