Unhappy Help installing SLP lid

Help, trying to install SLP lid on my 2002.
I received a lid kit, Part NO. 21044, yesterday and am trying to install it. Examined the article at www.installuniversity.com but one difference between the 2002 & the 1999 shown is a tube off to the right of the old lid. The SLP instructions say they are for the 1998-1999 and do not reference this tube either. The company assured me that it would work, but don't see what to do with this tube.

Any help? Thanks.

Thats the Air Pump hose that connects to that big plastic thing around the lid that holds all the air. Get a filter for that hose and thats all you need.

Question

Type & Part number for the filter? Little disappointed in Automotive Performance Engineering in Michigan for saying this kit was all I needed!

I think you have the wrong lid... the correct SLP lid for your car is number 21045. Look at it here...

http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...&SHOWEMAIL=Off

You can see that it has the attachment for the hose on the lid itself. This is the lid you need.
I would call the place you got the lid you have from and explain your situation and demand an exchange for the correct lid.
