Headers?

Since i have to replace part of my exhaust system, i was thinking about just going all out and installing headers with it. I don' know much about the different types, but i need ones that are dependable and fit right. It kinda rules out flp's because of those issues, but what about bassani headers, hooker headers, or the QTP equal length headers? I know performance-wise they are all the same, but any advice would be nice.

Depends on your budget.

If you want low cost and good performance, I'd say MACs. I have them on my car and LOVE them, but only with the ORY pipe. Their catted pipe sucks.

Personally, I'd prefer FLPs but I didn't have the $ for them. I've never heard of any fitment issues with FLPs myself.

I have Jet-Hot/Hooker's, and like them very much. They fit good, but my installer had a hard time getting them in. Good price.

Actually, i am considering the QTP headers, they look promising. Heard anything about these? I don't know of anyone who has them though, so whoever does, how well does it fit, are there any modifications that need to be done to prevent it from hitting, etc.?

yeah dude, go QTP all the way, you wont regret it man... about a month ago my friend dave called me up because his half brother was buying headers and didn't know which ones to get. he got FLP's, but he had some problems with them and ended up going QTP (the one i told him to go with)... dude... the sound is awesome... those are some tight as hell headers man. i can't wait to get mine but for a fact those are the headers im going to get. from what i've read, they're the best flowing headers out with no clearance issues. and if you really wanna go all out on it, buy their off road y pipe w/ the electrical cut outs... whaaaat, you'll have a stroke dude you can definately feel it man when you're in his car... he went with a borla exhaust too... but damn, for real, those are the headers to get if you can pay the $$$... if you're on a budget, get the jet-hot coated hooker headers, they're not that expensive and they're pretty good headers. peace
