Exhaust question

I have to get new exhaust for my 1999 camaro ss. I have two ideas of what to get, i was wondering what you guys thought and maybe some ideas you had. I have to get exhaust and the y pipe also.

1. Get a cheap exhaust system and cheap y pipe and then get long tube headers.

2. Get a really nice exhaust system and y pipe.

I have roughly $800.00 to $1,000.00 to spend.

Just get the y pipe and cat bak, get the long tubes later, I don't think you could get all 3 for $1000.

Jet-Hot LT's $511, Y $170, Hooker cat-back $300. $19 to spare. You will need simms which will get you over, but its close. If you really want to make a statement. Same LT's with X and True Duals ~$400. Something to think about. PM me about a good shop in the area. My local club uses someone all the time.
