Question Which exhaust is better?

I am thinking about getting one of two performance packages from thunderracing.com. Which catback system is better overall, in aspects of sound and appearance, Borla, or Hooker catback? Just wanted some opinions. Thanks.

I love my borla, tunability is good expecialy with headers and such, plus it is stainless steal, unlike the hooker, and the intercooled tips have a nice touch. I usualy run mine with no plates got a nice little nascar sound to it, sounds a little like a cutout.

you seem to have alot of expensive mods! i am going by the fact that hooker is half the price of borla, and is polished unlike borla. borla on the other hand makes some bad a$$ noise. and with borla i could get an electric cut-out, instead of messing with plates all the time.

i just cant decide

I've heard both and both have its ups and downs. Borla obviously has the adjustable sound however I don't like the tips. Hooker isn't as loud and I think it looks better. If you want loud, a good sound, and want to save money..then go Hooker and add a cutout. Don't get me wrong...Borla is nice and sounds great too (I personally just don't like the tips).

My only beef against Borla are the gay tips (in my opinion)

I want to keep stock tips, and the Borla doesn't allow for that very easily from what I understand.

Personally, I'm going to add a Flowmaster muffler and a cutout for now. When the warranty runs out at 60,000 miles, I'm going to do a full exhaust from the headers all the way back.
