electric supercharger???

Whats the deal with these electric superchargers i see on ebay? do they actually do anything. I read one article, and it said the flow 450cfm. and a t-3 turbo will flow 640cfm. wouldnt this not be enough? whats this thing going to do for my Z???

Don't waste your money. Those things are good for a max of between 1/2 and 1 pund of boost. You would do better strapping a leaf blower on your car (they move 1100+ cfm). It's all in the way it's used. Again, don't waste your money

Let me be the fourth person to say "don't do it"

That electric supercharger isn't capable of flowing enough air to feed an LS1 at WOT.

I was thinking that this wouldnt work at all, but it is an intersting thought. 450 cfm isnt that much. has anyone ever produced a "nice" electric supercharger? The concept is nice, but a little weird.

why bother? It would be more efficient to drive it off the crank.. or off exhaust gas in the case of a turbo..
