Ok i bought the seafoam and Crc Maf cleaner. The back of the can of the Crc says to take the maf out of the car to clean but can't i just disconnect it and spray it while still in the car?

You could, but why? Removal is just as easy, and it will prevent the pooling of the chemicals in the bellows. And with the intact tract removed, you can inspect the throttle body bore for carbon deposits and clean if necessary. Peek inside the intake manifold (through the throttle body) to inspect for excessive oil, and if present, could be the reason why the Seafoam treatment is necessary...
