If that is a 97 that is insanely good, for a 98 those are good numbers

Thumbs up

Wow! You have a freak for a 1998! No lid or any other mods besides the LM? Most 98s w/6 speed dyno in the 290s, so even with the exhaust you have some great numbers!

Thanks all for the kind words. I just bought the car. It is the stripped version. Has NO options. Got it for 9000.00 with 65k. Want to make it into a race car. Need to start with a clutch and short throw. Any suggestions ?

Cartek clutch, any of the aftermarket shifters are good. Sounds like you got a good car at a good price. LS1's are really starting to come down in price. Your dyno numbers are about average, if not a little above that...

I think those numbers are very good for a '98. My '98 Z28 with an SS exhaust dyno'd at 294 rwhp. My 2002 Z28 with a Magnaflow catback and SLP Lid dyno'd at 318 rwhp.
