DRL on '99 Camaro???

Are Daytime Running Lights standard on the 1999 Camaro base models?

DRL's have been standard on all Camaros since MY1997.

are the DRLs the headlights or the marker lights?

what lights are involved?

is the dash illuminated too?

DRL are the yellow marker lights up front.

If its dark enough, the headlights will automatically turn on with all the dashlights...

I think I've used the headlight switch literally once so far..

DRL's are the amber turn signal lights at full brightness.

Dash lights are not illuminated when DRL's are on...

All '97+ F-Bodies have the DRL amber lights that are on all the time.

When you start your car and put the parking brake down, the headlights automatically turn on if you're in a dark area. Then, when there's enough light, the headlights turn off and your amber lights turn on.
