DMS Springs
DMS Springs
Are the DMS springs any good, the price is right and I have heard good things about them, but just recently heard of them. How do they compare to other brands like eibach and hotchics? Is the lowering springs not a place to go with price and instead brand? Any help would be great.
They dropped my 02 SS Convertible 2 inches in the front and just a hair over 1 inch in the back. The body lean is considerably less than with the stock springs and the road manners are still civil because the spring rates are softer until you compress them under cornering load. Slap a 35mm suspension technologies front sway bar on there and you'll be carving up the roads with confidence. I do recommend upgrading the shocks too though. Especially in the rear. My Decarbons seem to loose there efectiveness on the rebound. (The back likes to jump up after hitting a bump) The fronts seem to be doing fine still. But the DMS springs are awesome. Sorry I don't have any 'after' pictures yet. My car got hit before I got the springs on and I didn't want to take my 'after' pictures until it gets fixed. It's in the shop now.
