Direct-FLo Installed
I just installed my Direct-Flo lid today and it seems like a good product.
The lid's durability is definitely there and it fits real good in place of the stock one. The only pain was getting that rubber grommet to come out of the stock lid.
When I started the car up, it sounded a little louder and when I revved it a little, it sounds like it's sucking the air in faster. I don't really notice that much of a difference in performance though. Off the line the RPMs seem to go a little higher and on the highway at about 75 it seems to need less power to go faster. However, the car did go from about 75-100 REAL quick though, so I guess this lid benefits the car's power up top.
Just thought I'd give my impressions of this lid. Anyone else with this lid or any other one feel free to chime in.

I havn't ran with other lids, and theres people that say theres no sotp difference. but after i installed my direct flo i noticed exactly what you said. Fit was real good. And the price was excellent in my humble opinion. would definetely recommend it. just my .02
I only had my car 2 or 3 months when I installed my Direct-Flo lid, but I do remember "feeling" a slight SOTP improvement. What I really noticed was the sound difference...........even with stock exhaust at the time, the motor sounded noticably louder and throatier. I'm sure the claims of 10 - 15 rwhp (or whatever they're rated for) are true
. I also ran at the track just before and just after installation, and I picked up .1 seconds and 1 - 2 mph
