Diablo Programmer.

I'm looking to buy the Diablo Programmer for this car and a 160 Thermo. My Question is does this programmer have the ability to set the fans so I don't have to buy a fan switch? Also is this programmer worth the extra ~60-70 over a Hypertech. And does it have performance settings?

Diagnostic (read trouble codes): I wanna say yes but not 100% sure.

Tuning: No...and never. It's married to the first VIN/car it's used on, forever.

I emailed Ls1speed (speed inc) about it and they said the Diablo is the same thing as the Hypertech (The Hypertech can do everything the Diablo can do). Is this true? Is one better then the other? is the Diablo worth the extra 50-80 bucks?

The Predator will read trouble codes/show real time data on other cars. Tuning can only be used on one car, if you decide to unlock it diablosport charges a $75 fee. I've used both and they are very different - go to their respective websites and research before deciding.

Please do not link to non supporting vendors. here's the best one i've seen to date. it's the closest you can get to ls1edit in a handheld. you have four preset programs you can install. then you can makes changes to them also. you can increase injector size. you can increase/decrease timing and power enrichment. gets rid of CAGS, increases rpm limiter by 300 rpm, and for automatics, 300 rpm also. it increases shift firmness also. you can increase/decrease idle rpm as well. make tire and gear changes? it can correct the speedometer. it reads DTCs also.
