Question Delco Batterys

i have a 99 ss with 40k miles. i have had it for about 4 years in that time i have had to replace the battery 2 times and getting ready to do it a third time. the battery has done the same thing twice, it has vent all the acid through the positive terminal lug. my question is " has any one else out there had the same problem? if not could something be wrong with my charging system? or is this some kind of defect with delco batteries?

I have the same problem with my die hard gold, the thing sucks big time. The funny thing is in my 97z I had the original delco battery in it up until last summer without problems and I was running ud pulleys.

Yup. it is common, but my 98 has a OE battery in it. Try not to tighten it so much, it actually turns the lead "pellet" and distrupts the seal and cause the leak, they dont have to be very tight to work properly.
