Nice looking and workmanship looks good. However, you now have a custom "chambered" exhaust, not a custom GMMG. I have what is probably the closest to a custom GMMG exhaust as you will find. I got mine while Matt was just gearing up for his GMMG adventure, it looks like it has been a great ride so far. He was then marketing the exhaust as what it really is, a BraXXton, chambered exhaust. Matt did the development for the fourth gen sytem. It was sold through another established company that some of you with 1st gens may know about. In any case, Matt was very responsive when I asked him what changes, I would have to make, if any to move it from my destroyed 97 to my new 02. I had to fab a new hanger on the driver side, a piece of cake. I was able to keep the 3" chambered I pipe that no longer comes on the LS1 system, so mine looks and sounds different than most that are around. I bought the system in stainless with the dual dual polished tips that are no longer available either. I still did not pay the $700 that is often quoted here. I only paid a little more than badpewterz did. But it was 1998. As far as performance, well the current sytem is the same one that they used on the 69 custom LS6 powered ZL1 cars that they just built. Chambered piping is not the same as a chambered muffler. Chambered piping as used by badpewterz and GMMG only has small forward facing cuts in the side walls to reflect certain sound frequencies, it does not restrict or interfere with flow. GMMG builds what people want and they do a good job of it, no, I do not own stock. Did not mean to rant, but I get so tired of hearing people bad mouth GMMG. badpewterz I know you did not badmouth them and you did do a good job on your system. I was just trying to bring a little clarity to to GMMG/chambered piping confusion. syndr0me here you go http://www.gmmginc.net/

Anything that "redirects exaust", like a baffle, is a restriction - however small it is.

i agree with PJs toy, you built a custom chambered exhaust. calling your system by the name of a patented exhaust system is a little risky, and i know matt pretty well (i set up GP's) and they wont stand by for long and let other people use their name, and i know their employees browse these boards..........just a word of warning man, nothing else. and your link sends you to an 'ls1tech has ben updated' type page. id be interested in seeing how it looks, ive seen some other guys work and most is pathetic.....as long as you are happy with it thats all that matters!
