Combo?
This is what I was thinking about doing? Using a set of 02-03 Z06LS6 cylinder headers with the Z06 cam, on my LS1 block? Now I know i'm not the first one to think about doing this, but here's my reasons ....
02-03Z06 CNC ported racing heads> $985.00
not ported > $712.00
they come with head casting/ valve springs/and caps, intake valve/exhaust valves, valve stem keys, intake seals, and exhaust seals. compression ratio 11.2:1
Cam shaft>$217.40
lift: .550/.550"
duration@.050:204/218
lobe centerline: 117.5-degrees
now if my car is making now with the sigs I have listed below 331HP/346TQ, by running this combo i should net gain or be @ 400RWHP? with some computer tuning also.
Now i guess this setup is just like take a Z06 vette and putting on the LT/catback exhaust and air induction right? or are you changing anything by running the LS1 block vs LS6?
