cat delete or high flow
 

Hey new to the ls1 just bought an 01 z28 auto 83k bone stock except for the K&N filter,getting the unpleasant rotten egg smell so I guess the exhaust is the first mod on my list. Should I delete the cats or replace them live in mi no emission tests and I daily drive almost 100 miles a day to work and back

Michigan? Hell yea get rid of them! Get a nice set of long tubes and a good cat back. If you are worried about sound, try the dynomax muffler that has the flapper valve.

ive used random tech cats but they are high ... very easy to tune out with EFI live

wasnt sure if it would hurt anything was leaning towards long tubes no cats and slp lm1 or a flowmaster
