Red face Car feels sluggish and is whining louder than normal. Only 870 miles!!

My car only has 870 miles on it but i noticed today that it was feeling much slower than normal. Also the engine/exhaust seems to be quieter. I am noticing a much more prominent whine when i accelerate. I have no mods except for a B&M shifter. The car worked fine after the shifter install a few days ago and was fine this morning. Tonight i noticed the problem. The shifter is now also making a buzzing sound. Please help my car is brand new!! And I need to take a 4 hour road trip in 3 days!!

It is kind of hot and muggy but it has been that way since I bought the car. I drove it around some more and it almost sounds like the noise is coming from the engine. It just doesn't sound right. It sounds much more flat and less throaty than it did before. I haven't the slightest clue what it could be since the car is brand new I haven't even had it for 2 weeks yet.

if your running the ac, that will caused a little loss of power, it actually states that in the manual. why did you put a new shifter on a brand new car? it's like you didn't even give your stock one a chance. if you installed an aftermarket shifter and it's damaging your trans, that will not be covered by warrenty.

Why mod our cars at all?Just swap the stock shifter back in before service and they'll never know

cause the stock one kinda bites. I put a Hurst Billet plus on my new T/A 3 days after I had it. this is my 3rd 4th gen F-Body. they have all had aftermarket shifters and I never had problems with the warranty.
