Camshaft and Headers Question
Hey guys,
I was wondering what kind of camshaft is best for the LS1s. I have a 2001 SS and I am planning on installing headers and a cam. First, which is better, Hooker Super Comp. Long Tube headers or FLP longtubes? What are the pros and cons of each? Second, I do not want to change heads, I want to keep my stock ones, so which cam should I get and where can I get it? I want to add some power but get some great sound from it. Thanks for the help. |
I would say to look at MTI, www.motorsporttech.com . They make an awsome setup even if you don't want heads. Plus they list their performance gains and it's all tested, excellent company.

Thanks for the quick replies.
I am wanting a very aggressive cam that sounds great. But I want alot of low end torque. Which cam sounds the best with headers and still gives me low end torque. Thanks |
hey how do you like those strange 4:10 gears
