I've finally got some money to put together a shortblock. I just got a few quick questions. When I assemble, what torque specs to I use? Do I follow the ones in the sticky on this section? Also, where do I find my clearance specs and so on? Will manufacturers provide me with the info for their individual parts? And last, do those "Build Performance LS1" books really provide in depth details about assembly or are they not a good source of info? Thanks for the insight!

 

By a Helms manual. It has all the specs for the whole car, everything.
