Anyone in here have borla XR-1 mufflers on their car? not the collector muffler the actual mufflers.. If so can you post sounds of it?

yeah, ive been there. there is only one soundclip of a car with straight XR-1's on it. I was wondering if anyone in here had one.

 

What exactly are you wanting? The way it sounds on ls1sounds.com is pretty accurate. Borla xr-1 mufflers aren't a catback... they're a bullet muffler.

 

what i really wanted was to hear it on a different car his video is kindof low volume. Do you have any first hand experience with this muffler? Im just wanting to know exactly how loud it is. I want to get that muffler i just dont want it to be defening

 

I can tell you that my XR1 sounds f#ckin awsome, especially after goin from a Flowasster to it. I picked up a ton of power just by doing that. Granted mine is on an LT1 which I think sound a bit better then LS1s and unfortunatly I dont have equipment to post sounds. I can almost guarentee that you wont be unhappy with it.

I think there are some clips of the XR-1 on the true duals section of ls1sounds also.

 

I replaced the Dynomax bullet in my "DynoMouth" with a Borla XR-1. Sounds awesome! Killed all of the rasp and is still pretty loud with LTs and ORY. I can't believe the difference...

 

danziger, the borla xr-1 actually quieted down your car? I thought the xr1 was supposed to be pretty loud
