blinking SES?

I just installed an ASP crank pulley, a larry tensioner pulley and an SLP lid. I know its normal for the SES light to come on and stay on. Tonight, however, i was driving home from school and an hour into the drive the SES came on and a blinking on and off. The car was driving fine and i couldnt find anything wrong with it but i am concerned because i heard when it blinks on and off something is wrong. It was blinking several times by the way before it finally stayed on. Any help is appreciated
Thanks

I don't think the SES light is suposto be blinking or on at all. Auto Zone can check / tell you the code(s) by simply going to one of their locations and ask them to scan your codes. That should help. Let us know the outcome...

did I mention that is FREE! no charge at all....

I have always heard that if it is on steady, it is nothing major, get it checked when you can. If it is blinking, get it checked immediately. That is what I have been told.

Blinking means Mult. Missfires! it was to be missfiring a damn lot to so that. or even to think that it is.
