Best oil filters for LS1 ??

I've always used either Fram or ACDelco oil filters foe my cars but Ive been thinking about switching to K & N oil filters even though they cost 2 to 3 times the price, but only if they're worth it.Any opinions or other filter suggestions ??

Now you're worrying me.What's up with Fram ? I've been using them for 10 to 15 years. If you know something I don't then tell me.I value my cars too much to use something on them that's bad for them

I've always used Fram, my dad has always used Fram, my uncle has always used Fram, my friend's nephew's cousin's brother has always...

Well, you get the idea.

When I personally hear about a Fram causing engine damage or messing anything in an engine up, then I'll switch.

AC Delco is just fine - don't waste your money. There are two filters that fit, I'm using the PF58 instead of the recommended one, it's longer but has the same thread size and o-ring diameter therefore it fits. It's not too long, it sticks slightly out but is not the lowest point underneath the car, just give it a try - a bigger filter should work better than a smaller one...

Everybody you know may have always used Fram. But a few years back they changed their design to save money. If you want an internal construction made up of cardboard instead of metal, go right ahead and keep using Fram. I'll never buy one again.
