Best intake setup for a Firehawk

What's the best intake setup for a 2001 Firehawk? I've been looking at the different lids and stuff and the Volant lid looks like the best. Will aftermarket lids still work with the stock ram-air setup? Also, what sort of gains can be expected out of a high flow MAF screen?

Get a WS6 lower airbox, a Texas Speed & Performance lid, and cut out your baffles in the hood. Oh yeah, and a ported throttle body.

A buddy of mine runs those mods except that lid (it was just released), and his car runs very well. :)

The lower airbox and lid sound good, but don't cut your baffles. Your hood is too valuable for that (hard as hell to get a new one) I remember seeing how you want everything to be reversible. As far a porting a TB, get another and port THAT one. And as far as lids, any kind will work, you'll get the same gains no matter what, it's just what you want for looks.

Get a KN FIPK. You get more air in to the engine than any other intake mod. It is a little pricey but well worth it IMO. Alot of people dyno 20+ rwhp from it. I have it on my Z and love it. I never dynoed my car so sorry I dont have numbers.

I would go for the K/N FIPK. That's what I'm saving up for my SS. Looks badass plus you get really good gains.
