Bent torque arm?

Bent torque arm?

I put a picture on my webshots page. what do you think?
Appears to be pretty bent to me, I mean it should be parallel to the drive shaft right? take a look. Thanks

That is the way all the stockers I have seen look, even my LG arm had a bend to fit ton to the rear

That's just how they're manufactured dude! Even if it DID bend from abuse, it would bend upward, not downward like it is in the picture (remember, the torque arm is in essence trying to "lift" the front of the car). That's why it's shaped the way it is, so that it'll resist bending upward.

Ok thanks guys i just wanted to make sure. there is this thumping under the car as I let out the clutch sometimes and i thought that it may have been the torque arm. I checked the bushing and it appears ok, but looks to have a small rip in it, Hard to tell really it appears that it may have been manufactured that way. maybe its just clutch chatter. thanks

Probably have a broken trans mount.
The TA bushing is a 2 piece outfit so the tear that you see is the seam where the 2 halves meet.
