I have an ls1. Where can i put the big autometer sender for the oil pressure? Also where is the stock oil sending unit? I looked everywhere!! Thanks.

 

Hey howzit goin! Heres what you need to do:
Look right above your oil filter, theres a small "fitting" (about 2 " long) with a neck on it . On the camaro engines this piece has no function. Your gonna take that piece off, (it has 2 bolts and a gasket) and drill and tap it for whatever threads you need. OR you can do what I did and buy the corvette LS1 piece from the GM dealer, which is already taped for metric threads, which should be eisier to tap for the autometer american threads.
