Anyone using TRAK-PAK????

I was wondering who was using a BMR TRAK-PAK torque arm kit
its thunder racing part # 27-TP001. What are your opinions on this kit. Also I'm looking for a picture of how it looks on the car. I'm looking for traction for auto-cross and the dragstripe. What do you think?

I used to own a 95 Z28 and installed the BMR Track Pack. The torque arm on mine had a solid polyetholene bushing in the front where it mounted to the cross brase. The car felt like a log wagon from then on. As far as performance, it worked good at the track. The problem was that 99% of the time I used it for a daily driver. Keep in mind that this was a few years ago. I've looked at BMR's web site and it looks like they have added differant options for that torque arm. I would make sure that if you do get this set up to specify a rubber bushing or you will feel every little bump from the back tires.

Good Luck!

phantom what kind of racing do you do? I'm really getting into auto-cross alot but most of the time I'm on the street. I don't get to the dragstrip as much. would you still suggest this for my aplication. Do you have a pic? I'm just trying to figure out how it connects under the car.

Real racing is in a straight line :) heheh

i have a few pics of my crossbrace that you can barely see on my site :)

Otherwise i think its great.. my car was a daily driver with this. Generally i say stay away from the rod end one, however in a straight line its better.
