What crossmember are you reffering to? The trans or the front suspension?

Ya... if you're talking about the tranny crossmember, that's simple, just put a jack firmly against the tranny so it doesn't fall, and unbolt the four bolts on the crossmember and the tranny mount bolt in the center and it comes right off.

If you're talking about the front suspension crossmember, can't help ya there, never taken that off before.

One my LS1 I used a set of 6 ton jack stands, a floor jack and a stack of 4x6s to jack the car up. Then I unbolted the struts from teh engine compartment, undid the steering knuckle, the brake lines, A/C, comp nad what not...Then jacked it up and slide the whole thing out as one (trans, engine, struts, wheels/tires) then I just roll the other one under and lower it back down and bolt it back together. Its easy, ill be doing it again in a couple weeks, ill get pics...

Swapping to a BMR k-member was one of the easiest mods to date...you'll need to lose the front suspension and remove the rack then all it is, 6 bolts and drop her out..check my sig for pics...good luck
