Are all SLP lids the same?

I have a 2002 SS, and I want a better air lid than the stock one, like the SLP one.

Will a 1998 SLP lid make me happy? Is it the same lid as the newer ones?

I think so.If there is any difference,it would just be that there is no hole on the side to put the little air hose thing that you guys have. But most people just slap a small K&N on that hose anyway.Good luck.

When I went ot put on a brand new SLP lid, bought from a local distributor, it was one of the older versions. I took it back to get the correct version. There is a hole in the side of the '98 version which you could connect to the air hose, or as mentioned above, put a filter on the hole. However, if you have a choice, get the new one.
