Some dude here said he got his 2000 TA, Non WS6, to 400rwhp... he didn't do a h/c/i package, just headers and "Computer Chips BS." Is that AT ALL feasible?

 

No way. 400hp at the crank is possible with bolt-ons and a tune, but not to the wheels.

No way can you get 400 to the wheels without a cam or heads/cam unless he's talking power adder, ie turbo, supercharger, NO2.

 

I would agree, nope. Ishoul dbe near 400 with my '01, Lid, TR230 cam, some tuning and LT's. Now with Nitrous, yes. I dynoed, 326 with a couple minor bolt-ons then 474 RWHP with a 150 shot.

 

Yea, with some bolt-ons im rated at around 400 hp AT THE FLYWHEEL, but only around 330 at the wheels...he is probally forgetting that friction (damn bastard) robs us of about 25%...

I got LT's, exhaust, a cutout, a lid and a TR224 cam and put down the numbers in the sig. With a LS6 intake and a tune I MIGHT see 400 rwhp....so hes full of sh*t if he says he aint got nothin in it but what you stated.
