3 inch Y + Borla + Stock Manifolds?!

I got the borla on order finally... but i really want a 3 inch y pipe and i have to use the stock mani's... (warrenty). Is this possible? And i will be running cats as well.

That's my setup. I got the y-pipe from SLP because that flat p.o.s. y-pipe from the factory was not staying on my car any longer than it had to. If you have some time, it might be a good idea to head over to the local exhaust shop and see how much they'd charge to fab you up a custom y-pipe. I didn't compare prices, so I still don't know if SLP ripped me off.

ok knowing this info now, what ypipe should i get that will work with convertibles (i really don't feel like dealing with my local exhaust shop)

To get the y-pipe to fit on mine (T-Top), I had to cut the right side right behind the 02 sensor and clamp it. The left side bolted right up. I'm not 100% on convertibles, but there's a kit that SLP sells that you might have to get in order for it to work.
