I have had my camaro for a year now and have come to the point where I want add a little power...what is the easiest and cheapest way to get me to at least 315HP on the dyno sheets?
The only thing I have done right now is the flowmaster cat back.

First: What are your current Dyno readings? Are you looking at currently being at 306+ (Like some lucky members) or are you at 280? Different starting places may mean different mods to get you there.
Of course go to http://www.installuniversity.com and start with the free/nearly free mods.

My 98Z pulled 318 rwhp and 334 rwtq with:
**Lid/Fram ($100)
**Dynomouth exhaust ($140)
TB bypass (Free)
Fernco ($3)
Throttle stop mod (Free)
EGR mod (Free)
Thermostat mod (Free)
Auto fan switch ($18)
Bosch platnums ($16)
FRA (Free)
**These are the only mods that would show on the dyno. The others do have a positive effect in the 'real world' though. Especially the FRA, that is a MUST DO! On the highway it will give you a noticable increase in passing power, especially in 6th.
I notice you are running Flowmasters... I hate being the bearer of bad news, but the Flowmasters don't flow well at all in the crossflow muffler design. For example, the Borla flows around 900 cfm, the Magnaflow around 1100 cfm, and the muffler in the Dynomouth flows 2200+ cfm. The crossflow Flowmaster flows around 350 cfm.
Good luck
Dave

Easiest and cheapest way to get 315 on a dyno ... Inflate the rear tires to at least 45 lbs - 50 if you dare. Pull the A/C belt and replace the serpentine with a short belt bypassing the alternator and power steering pump. Then pull the air box and cover the MAF intake with some nylon hose. Then pull the exhaust off from the y-pipe back.
Dyno on a cold autumn morning and don't SAE correct the readings.
Do all that and you should have your 315 dyno sheet ... maybe even 320, 330 or more.
all my car gots is a k&n exhuast i bought for $300, its the one where the air filter is on the outside (its welllllllll worth it), flowmaster catback system $300, a MAF for $319, look at www.thunderracing.com and www.ls1motorsports.com for easy hp add ons, i belive they got some bellows thing that adds 5 hp, a intake/manifold that adds 15.. and so on... there is enhough 5 - 15 hp add ons to make a z28 400 hp
