1/4 Mile Street times for stock LS1 SSs?

Where is everyone getting this info? It is all wrong.
- 2000 was the first year of the redesigned exhaust manifolds.
- 2000 did not have the same cam as 01-02
- Better heads, did I miss something when did they do that?
A 2000 will dyno almost identical to a 01-02 due to the good cam and manifolds. The LS6 intake was part of a give and take program.

My car ran the time in the sig stock. My buddy ran his 01SS, on virtually the same 60' (his was .01 slower), and ran a 13.46@ 106.1 WITH a catback.
The cars are all so similar its not worth discussion. Its all driver. The only true difference is if you put the LS6 manifold on the earlier cars with the more agressive cam. Then you see 7-10 rwhp. All 98-02 M6 cars dyno 290-320 at the rear wheels (mostly depending on type of dyno, conditions, and other outside factors, the motors being a relitively small part).
Oh, my 00 has the redesigned exhaust manifolds FWIW...

Late 00 and up have the 241 head castings.
Some claim that the 241s flow better (there is no factual proof) and that is why some 00s with 241s run quite a bit better than the cars with the 853s.
I just took my heads off and they are the 241s. Look at my sig and you'll see that my car is pretty strong.
My bud's 00 had the 853s.

here we go with the equality for all f bodies thing again.
Just so you know it is ok for you to ask what the camaro ss runs, you arnt required to combine the ss and z28 in your question. Some years had different parts, which was mentioned above, and im sure they do effect the cars performance. You have to take into consideration so many factors. anyway a typical camaro ss will run will run low 13s with a manual and a good driver. with a bad driver anything goes. The auto camaro ss will usually run a mid 13 though im sure there are a million exceptions. There are certain options that will help out a lot such as the better gearing for the autos. Also my car came with the bfg tire option which helped it acheive the 13.1 time im sure. Everyone will never agree on this issue so i guess its just best to take it one race at a time and see how you do.

my dads 01 stripper M6 z with only a K&N and a good tires ran a 12.89@107....
after 3 more runs of 12.93 12.96 12.93, the group we were with decided my old man can drive pretty damn good..
the best i drove it was a 13.18 becasue i couldnt launch it as good as he could...there was a tenth and a half between 60 fts mine and his...and our powershifts were the same "speed"...We are at 600 ft elevation
Granted this car is a stripper, but the E/T is attainable with GOOD tires...these are street tires not DR's...there are alot of LS1 cars trapping 105-107....heres one that got a 12 second timeslip with some tires...
