The windshield wipers on my '89 Iroc aren't working. I just picked up the car, so I don't know when or why they stopped working.

I'm hoping maybe someone could help me figure out what needs to be replaced. When I attempt to turn the wipers on, nothing happens. No sounds, no nothing. Could it be the switch? Fuse? Motors? I'm hesitant to think it's the motors because if that was the case, I don't think they'd BOTH be out.

there is only one motor that works both

 

Look at the fuses, if they are good, Put a volt meter on the input to the motor and see if any power is making it there.
