Where are the turn signal flashers?

Where are the turn signal flashers?
I bought a new flasher fuse for my right turn signal, the bulb works fine and it turns on, it just doesnt flash, so i bought a new flasher fuse and was looking around for where to put it. someone said its on the right side of the steering column after taking off the cover i couldnt find it. Any help????
