Welding on coated headers?

I haven't a clue what the right forum for this would be, so it's in the LT1 since they're LT1 headers :P

I would like to weld O2 fittings onto my Hooker LTs, since for some stupid reason I decided I didn't want them when I ordered them. They're ceramic coated, so I just wanted to know if there's anything special I need to know about. I had planned on just grinding back a bit of the coating...

Thats all i did to my coated y-pipe when i had to re-position it.
