Re: Upper radiator hose blew off

Are you having any issues with coolant being pushed out of the overflow? Maybe your clamp has lost pressure?

No I haven't seen any exit the overflow.. I have in the past when I shut the car off it would boil out the reservoir but not this time the hose blew off while driving having me try to get off the freeway in a hurry.

Re: Upper radiator hose blew off

I would verify that the clamp has adequate pressure to hold the hose in place. The cooling system is pressurized, so this is important. To ensure there isn't any build up, I would also recommend a full coolant flush.
