did the intake manifold gasket on sunday and now i have to get the peddle halfway down before it notices i am giving it gas. i was gonna try and ride it out, but it is getting bothersome.
how do i adjust it?
keep in mind i have TC. only thing i did was take it off the TB and set it aside, didnt know to do any different. if i was supposed to or not.

Double check that you reassembled it properly; shouldn't need an adjustment.

 

that is why i am confused. seems there was only one way to take it off and put it back on.

 

did you take the tps off? did you plug the tps back in?

 

i did not take the TPS off, only unplugged it! could that possibly be it?

 

If you did not alter the adjustment when you removed it, then something must have been reinstalled incorrectly.

 

hmm, basically i twisted the thing next to the TB for the throttle cable to come loose, slid it out. then did the same to put it back in.

the TPS stayed on the TB while i took the manifold off, so i just unplugged it to take it off, then plugged it back in.
i will go take a look at it tomorrow, but we are heading out of town so i cant work on it now.
