Sluge build up on plenum and throttle body

Ok guys, iam lost, i removed throttle body, and behind it all i saw was black! there is a good 1/4 of sluge sitting in the plenum and throttle body. How does that get there? and another thing, the bolts to remove the plenum, 2 of them are stripped. They are star keys and i have no idea of how to remove them! i need to get them off, soon! any ideas on either of the 2? by the way, its a 305 tpi

the lsudge could be old oil, if your pcv is leaking or bad the engine could be sucking in oil through it. As for the stuck bolts, I guess you could try easy-outs ( drill bit looking things that have reverse cut threads). Hopefully someone else an help you better.
