SLP or Magnaflow

I am looking to buy an SLP or Magnaflow catback for a 94 Z. I am trying to keep it under $300. Has anyone bought any of these systems from anywhere online for this price??

Also, I was considering just swapping out a Magnaflow muffler for the stock one. Are the measurements 2.5, 2.5 and 3" inlets?? Can it be easily swapped for the stock muffler?? Thanks.

Re: SLP or Magnaflow

If you want to stay under $300, you can get a TSP Rumbler catback for $225. Great quality, nice sound, but it's not SS, so if you live drive in the rain and they put salt down on the roads, it may not be as good a choice as either the SLP or Magnaflow.

Re: SLP or Magnaflow

The Magnaflow is a pretty quiet catback down low and it sounds pretty aggressive when you have your foot to the floor. One advantage of the Magnaflow is that it is stainless steel so it will last awhile.

We have just a Magnaflow muffler and stock pipes ,the sound and performance is great.I llike the deeper throatier sound you get with Magnaflow over the loud brash sound of the SLP.
