Re: Shifter light

Matt Harlan ... great shift light. I actually mounted mine in the A-Pillar defrost vent. Matt has pics of an A/C vent install on his site. I'll try to dig up the URL.

EDIT: Well, I gues he stopped making them. His web store is gone.

But, there's an install guide for his light in the A/C vent over on Install University. Click Me!

Re: Shifter light

I like mine in the A-Pillar. I've got to take a picture of my amp rack this afternoon, so I'll take one of the shift light also. I'll post it tonight.

Re: Shifter light

Raptor Performance makes an awesome shift light as well....very small and compact.

Raptor Shiftlight

I have heard of people haveing problems getting the a-pillar back into place so I put it in the middle vent..plenty of room. Plus I have the convenience of just shutting the vent if I dont want that bright as light shining in my eyes for some reason.

I have pics of it here:

Nope. Tach lead comes out of the PCM. Just run a wire over to the passenger kick panel, up thru the infamous 'grommet' and then up to the PCM. Use one of those blue spade clamps to connect it to the tach lead. Simple as that.

There are only 2 other wires coming out of the shiftlight...power and ground.

Re: Shifter light

Here's my Harlan shift light installed in the A-Pillar. I still need to get a rubber grommet to replace the piece of gaffers tape I used, but you get the idea.
