ignition help
My 94 camaro Z-28 friday would not allow the key to turn the ignition just would turn to the unlock position and, go no farther.
So that afternoon I replace the ignition cylinder now the car won't do nothing but click at me when turning to start.
It will go all the way around now but,
No flashing security light nothing but a click sounds like relay or something like that.
Anybody can you help me out.

If you have no lights on the dash, but the headlamps work, it was probably an ignition switch problem rather than a key cylinder one.

Thanks a lot!
I have a new issue the security light comes on now and stays on.
I tried pulling the radio fuse and turning the key 3 times but, no locking of doors or hatch.
I also bypass the vats with the resistors and, also have a chip key and tried it that way to.
Does anyone know how to get that light off.
